Dr. Canh Ly

Dr. Canh Ly

Chiropractor

Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic), Master of Chiropractic Science

Dr Canh (pronounced “can”), was born in the Philippines, but grew up in a small town in Canada. He moved to Sydney where he completed his Chiropractic studies at Macquarie University.

Dr Canh’s approach to chiropractic care involves tailoring his treatments to the individual’s specific needs. He emphasizes that injury prevention and rehabilitation is key and has helped many patients over the years with issues such as neck and back pain, headaches, shoulder problems as well as numerous issues associated with everyday life. Through patient education, Canh is able to help patients understand why their problems are happening, why they happened in the first place and what’s needed to be done for future prevention.

In his free time, Canh enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, going to the gym and trying his hand at a new cooking recipe.

Dr. Janine Ritchie

Dr. Janine Ritchie

Principal Chiropractor

Bachelor of Applied Science (Biochemistry) (Honours), Master of Chiropractic Science, Board eligible with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board

After completing a science degree in the ‘90s, Janine worked in the food industry as a microbiologist and at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute as a research assistant in the auto-immunity and transplantation department. Eventually, she decided it was time to get back to nature as a way of healing, having received chiropractic care as a child. She believes her experience gives her an informed view on the various approaches to health.

Janine loves the diversity that comes from working in a family practice – one minute it’s a cross-fitter, followed by an infant and their grandparents.

She loves the sun and the ocean, sci-fi movies (don’t tell anyone), posting on her dog’s Instagram and picking up recycled ‘bargains’ from people’s nature strips (don’t tell anyone that either!).

David originally met his partner Janine (Principal Chiropractor at Mount Gambier Chiropractic) in a biochemistry prac class at university, way back when following Carlton was fun. Like Janine, David believes his exposure to the scientific and chiropractic worlds gives him an informed view on the various approaches to health.

Lyn Suggate

Chiropractic Assistant

Lyn has always had a keen interest in health and wellbeing and has been involved in this industry for most of her working life, previously working in childcare, aged care and being a First Aid trainer for many years.

Lyn was thrilled to join the team at Mt Gambier Chiropractic Centre almost 10 years ago. She enjoys meeting new people and being part of the team that helps people be the best they can be.

Gardening is Lyns passion, in particular caring for her many roses.

Fiona Yorston

Chiropractic Assistant

Born and raised in Melbourne, most of Fiona’s adult life has been spent living on the Mornington Peninsula, but she is now embracing all that Mount Gambier has to offer.

Fi has enjoyed Chiropractic care for over 15 years and understands the benefits of regular adjustments (her very first adjustment was actually with Dr Janine Ritchie way back in the mid-2000’s).

Fiona’s favourite things in life are coffee, her pets, coffee, swimming and fishing at the beach, coffee and fossicking in second hand junk shops (and coffee).
